Alison + Elliott 7.23

I just knew from my first meeting with Alison and Elliott that I would absolutely love working with them during their July wedding. They're fun loving, laid back, lovers of all things outdoors, and very important to me, obsessed with their pets. And if you've ever worked with me, you know I will ask all the details of your pets and if we're FaceTiming, I'll insist that you hold them up for me in front of the camera :-) But I also loved that these two chose to incorporate so many aspects of their lives into their nuptials, including the states they've called home over the years. They started off with their legal ceremony at an intimate elopement in California, where they started their journey together and have since moved back to. Then, they held a larger ceremony and reception for their family and friends at the Clintonville Woman's Club in Ohio, where Alison studied dentistry at Ohio State. And these two lucked out with the Ohio weather amid a few stormy days - including that morning - with a gorgeous sunny day. They spent the evening laughing amongst their guests and dancing to their favorite local band, Doc Robinson. I wish these two all the best as they start their married lives together out in Cali!
