This gallery just has to start with a good YEEHAW for Henry turning one!! When I chatted with Laurel and Jon about taking some family photos to celebrate Henry's first birthday, we also said, hey, wouldn't it be awesome to also capture some moments from his first birthday party, err, I mean RODEO, too! And I'm so thankful we did because let's just say, epic cake smash ;-) Like most one-year-olds, Henry was mainly interested in smooshing icing between his fingers rather than figuring out that all that goes in his mouth! But that wasn't an issue at all since his pups were right by his side waiting for yummy morsels to fall on the ground. This little boy had the best day surrounded by so many friends and family members who donned their finest western attire and festive stick-on mustaches. And, while raindrops threatened the surrounding areas, this little family lucked out with a perfectly dry afternoon to celebrate. It still feels like we were just capturing his newborn moments yesterday, but I'm so happy to be capturing so many fun first birthday moments too!
