So often, I get that couple that I say over and over, I can't wait to photograph their wedding, and Katie and Clay were just that! So when Covid struck last year, and these two made the tough decision to postpone until 2021, I just knew their special day would be worth the wait. And trust me, it did not disappoint! We've been bonding by phone over the last two years, so I knew already they were so kind, outgoing, and I have to mention, huge dog lovers {{I really do deem this as an impressionable personality trait}}. I felt like I already knew them by the time their June wedding date finally arrived! They held their nuptials at the always-amazing Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City on one of the most gorgeous days of the year - just look at that golden glow we had going all day! And even through Covid, and these two planning their wedding amidst moving from Chicago to Columbus, everything was absolutely perfect. And I'm sure being surrounded by so many friends and family members made it even more memorable. Trust me, this was one dance floor I did not want to leave! I'm pretty sure my feet were about to fall off and I had no voice the next day from dancing and singing right along with their awesome crowd. I know postponing for a year was hard, but it the end, they started their happily ever after off in the best way possible!
