Inviting a photographer to capture special moments for you is truly making an investment in memories. I aim to make this investment as affordable and simple as possible. My photography pricing is done a la carte, meaning you don’t pay for items you don’t want. You can pick and choose which sessions you would like, and build a custom package based on your preferences, or schedule just one session if that’s all you’re looking for at the time.

When you build a session package (two or more session types booked at the same time), I want to help make it even more affordable! There’s nothing I love more than establishing great relationships with my clients and working with them more than once.

  • Two-Session Package: When you book two sessions, I will take 15% off your lowest priced session.
  • Three-Session Package: When you book three sessions, I will take 20% off your lowest priced session.

You can keep going! You can book as many sessions as you would like and the package discount will follow suit.

The Details

Weddings

  • Per hour photography services at a location of your choice (mileage cost may apply - please ask me for details). I can be scheduled for as long as you will need.
  • Candid photos of your special day and portrait services of specific group(s).
  • Full editing of your best photographs; number of photographs varies depending on the length of time I will be with you.
  • A private online viewing gallery of your edited photos (with a link you can provide for viewing rights).
  • A CD of your edited images saved in high-resolution, print-ready format, along with full-printing rights. CDs will be mailed within four weeks of your session. I will also advise you on my recommended print vendors to ensure you receive professional print work. In addition, I offer post-production services if you need a photo resized; you can simply contact me and I will send you a new file.

Payment & Booking

To schedule your wedding day photography, I require a $200 flat initial wedding booking fee. This guarantees I do not schedule any other bookings for that day. Once you request your wedding date, I will send you an invoice through PayPal for this fee. You will then have 48 hours to secure your session with your down payment.

Three months prior to your wedding date, I will hold a wedding photography meeting with you, and anyone else you would like, such as parents. I will sit down with you to go over the plans for the day, location and venue information, color schemes, wedding party details, etc. We will try to get an entire plan for the day put together during that meeting. This will allow you to know exactly how long you will be booking me for. I will then take that information, put it into a plan with a contractual agreement for payment and fulfillment to present to you. I then require a 50% down payment for your entire wedding photography at that time if the plan and contractual agreement are correct to you (I will subtract the $200 initial booking fee from this amount). I will send you a PayPal invoice for this down payment.

The remaining 50% is then due within two weeks after your wedding date. I can either send you a PayPal invoice for the remaining balance, or you can provide it to me by check, cash, or credit card (cash and credit card payments can only be made in person with me; checks can be made out to Betsy Jane Photography, LLC. There is a $30 fee for returned checks).

Family, Children, Seniors, Maternity, Engagement, & Head Shots

  • Family, Children, Seniors, Maternity, Engagement: Up to a two-hour photo shoot at a location of your choice (mileage cost may apply - please ask me for details). Each additional hour is $100.
  • Head Shots: Up to a two-hour photo shoot at a location of your choice (mileage cost may apply - please ask me for details). Each additional hour is $100. One-hour sessions are available for $100.
  • You may choose two locations at which to shoot during your session (for example, a park and a church). I advise picking locations with several areas to photograph. For instance, a favorite park with a wooded setting, meadow, sunflower field, fence line, etc.
  • Unlimited outfit changes. If you need help picking outfit colors, types of outfits, etc., I will most certainly assist you leading up to your session.
  • Unlimited props and memorabilia. I always invite my clients to bring anything special to them they would like to have included in their photos. I bring certain props to various shoots that I feel can be used, such as chairs, a wagon, crates, etc. But most often, I don’t use props as I most want to capture moments between you and your loved ones instead of worrying how a prop will look in a photo.
  • For families: Up to two children for the above price; each additional child is $30. The reason for added pricing is so I may spend extra, quality time with each one of your children to ensure they receive the special attention they deserve during our shoot, and during editing.
  • Full editing of your best photographs. This typically ranges from 30-50 images depending on how your session goes. I’m known to be excellent at making children giggle and smile, but sometimes even I can’t stop crocodile tears (even though I certainly try!).
  • A private online viewing gallery of your edited photos (with a link you can provide for viewing rights).
  • A CD of your edited images saved in high-resolution, print-ready format, along with full-printing rights. CDs will be mailed within two weeks of your session. I will also advise you on my recommended print vendors to ensure you receive professional print work. In addition, I offer post-production services if you need a photo resized; you can simply contact me and I will send you a new file.

Newborn

  • These are preferred to be scheduled within baby’s first five days of being home. While this may be a tiring time for you, doing them so soon ensures baby sleeps through most of the session and allows me to move them around as needed, without disturbing them. This makes it much less stressful for you and gives you the photos you desire.
  • Up to a two-hour photo shoot at your home (mileage cost may apply - please ask me for details). Each additional hour is $100.
  • I can take photos in various areas of your home, but most often use the nursery, master bedroom, and an area in front of large windows (for instance, a living room or dining room). I may ask to move some furniture around if necessary. If weather permits, you may also choose to do some outdoors photos.
  • Unlimited outfit changes for you, baby, and any other family members. If you need help picking outfit colors, types of outfits, etc., I will most certainly assist you leading up to your session.
    Unlimited props and memorabilia. I always invite my clients to provide anything special to them they would like to have included in their photos. I bring certain props that I feel can be used with newborns, such as suitcases, baskets, etc. I also bring several swaddling blankets.
  • I also bring studio equipment if you would like to have more posed shots taken of your baby. This is all portable and I will need about a 5’ x 5’ area to set it up.
  • Full editing of your best photographs. This typically ranges from 30-50 images depending on how your session goes.
  • A private online viewing gallery of your edited photos (with a link you can provide for viewing rights).
  • A CD of your edited images saved in high-resolution, print-ready format, along with full-printing rights. CDs will be mailed within two weeks of your session. I will also advise you on my recommended print vendors to ensure you receive professional print work. In addition, I offer post-production services if you need a photo resized; you can simply contact me and I will send you a new file.

Since babies come when they please, it’s almost impossible to set an exact session date and time. Once you book your session (see next bullet), I will put your due date in my calendar. I will contact you about one week out from your due date (if you haven’t delivered yet) to check in. I will Facebook friend request you as well to keep an eye for any baby news. It will then be up to you to contact me once baby has arrived to schedule an exact day and time for your session.

I require a 50% down-payment at the time of booking your session - these are made through PayPal. Once you contact me to express interest in a newborn session, I will send you an invoice through PayPal. You will then have 48 hours to secure your session with your down-payment.

Boudoir

Boudoir photos have quickly become extremely popular! These make for wonderful gifts from a woman to her special someone for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I ensure they are done with the utmost class and sophistication, and that you are completely comfortable the entire session. I tell my clients to imagine you’re just a girl playing dress-up! All my clients have raved about how much fun their session was and how much easier it was than they thought it would be.

  • Up to a two-hour photo shoot at your home or a hotel (mileage cost may apply - please ask me for details). Each additional hour is $100.
  • I can take photos in various areas of your home, but most often use bedrooms, hallways, and stairwells. I may ask to move some furniture around if necessary.
  • Unlimited outfit changes. You may choose to wear anything you would like for your session, depending on your comfort level. Most women choose various levels of lingerie, high heels, and costume jewelry (pearls, etc.) If you need help picking outfit colors, types of outfits, etc., I will most certainly assist you leading up to your session. I will also bring various items with me, including black heels, pearl necklaces, and breast augmenters.
  • Unlimited props and memorabilia. I always invite my clients to provide anything special to them they would like to have included in their photos.
  • Full editing of your best photographs. This typically ranges from 30-50 images depending on how your session goes.
  • A private online viewing gallery of your edited photos (with a link you can provide for viewing rights).
  • A CD of your edited images saved in high-resolution, print-ready format, along with full-printing rights. CDs will be mailed within two weeks of your session. Labor & Delivery

Labor and delivery photography is a very special way to let you look back on one of the most important moments in your life. It allows you and your loved ones in the delivery room to focus on your baby’s special arrival rather than having to play photographer.

  • L&D sessions can be scheduled for both hospital or home births (mileage cost may apply - please ask me for details).
  • There are no time limits for L&D sessions. You will contact me when you start going into labor and we will remain in touch over the course of your labor, and will gauge when I need to be on my way to you. Each woman’s labor is different, so I may need to come quicker than some, or wait longer than some. I will then generally stay for about two hours after birth.
  • During the process, I will be in the room the entire time, while you are in active labor and during your birth. This ensures I don’t miss anything you would want captured. You can request that I take any and all photos, including the delivery or, you can ask that I don’t take photos of anything “below the belt.” I may walk around the room to ensure the best lighting, shots, and that I am out of the way, but will always respect your privacy. You can also request that I put my camera down while you are pushing and stand off to the side until baby is out.
  • For C-Sections: I can be suited up to be present in the operating room for both planned and unplanned C-Sections. This is up to your doctor and the operating room staff of your hospital if a photographer can be present, with my equipment.
  • L&D sessions must be approved by your doctor and the hospital at which you will deliver. It is important to remember to add me to the list of who will be in the room during your delivery.
    Candid photos throughout your entire experience and posed photos of your family.
  • Full editing of your best photographs. This typically ranges from 30-50 images depending on how everything goes.

  • Candid photos of your event and portrait services of group(s). For instance, I will walk around to take candid photos, and group photos, during your event. And, set up portraits of your entire group and/or individual portraits of group members. For family events, this includes a portrait of the entire family (grandparents, parents, children, etc.), and then portraits of individual families (parents and their children).
  • Full editing of your best photographs; number of photographs varies depending on your event.
    A private online viewing gallery of your edited photos (with a link you can provide for viewing rights).
  • A CD of your edited images saved in high-resolution, print-ready format, along with full-printing rights. CDs will be mailed within four weeks of your session. I will also advise you on my recommended print vendors to ensure you receive professional print work.
